LOL - who might be "no wizard", Craig? LOL.
But it's really no laughing matter - the man is a dangerous ego-maniac who is going to cause no end of hardship (already proven and escalating to include my country now).
Fun limerick though. :))

And now they're talking about a Nobel Prize, courtesy of this little bit of stupid grandstanding that's going on over in Singapore. They world has truly gone insane. Many thanks, Dawn :)

Hi, Craig,
I wondered to myself if this is a chicken and egg situation. Are we in a curfuggle because of him, or is him just the hatching of the existing, incubating curfuggle?
Nice word, curfuggle... it sounds like it's meaning.
Enjoyed the simile references to harry potter, muggles... non magic and self declared importance.

Thanks very much for another great review, Turtle. I guess maybe it's a nasty, self-perpetuating circle. Perhaps it will take something outside of politics to fix it - but I can't imagine what that might be. Cheers, Craig

What a great word! I wonder if it's related to kerfuffle or maybe even the newly created word, covfefe? Great limerick form with a political humor statement!

I've used the word covfefe in a poem before, Helen. A great word it is, too. Many thanks, Craig

Hi, Craig,
You muggle, you!!
Wonderful use of this funny little word. I love it, 'curfuggle.' I'm reasonably sure I can find a way to use this - it's just too cool of a word not to use.
Harry was a good way to introduce the POTUS without ruffling too many feathers,
Thank you for making me smile this morning,

I love it, Patty. I think it might be my favourite word from the book so far.
Glad you think I have avoided ruffling any feathers, because I hate doing that hehe
Most of all, I'm happy it made you smile. It's a glorious, crisp, winter Sunday morning here, and this review made me smile.
Cheers,
Craig

Hi, Craig,
I'm working on my present storyline. I am editing future chapters and I found the PERFECT place to use curfuggle. I'm so happy!

Curfuggle, curfuggle, curfuggle, oh what a mess, I need to give warning, I'll blow my bugle. Funny and good writing. Thanks for sharing and keep writing and reading.

This is one of your best posts dedicated to archaic words. Limericks are hard for me. It is the last punch line that I can't seem to invent. Harry's country in a curfuggle is great--such a natural rhyme for muggle and Harry's struggle. And, the line is funny, too, just as it should be. Now, curfuggle is deeply planted in my brain along with a mass of other useful information. This was fun.

Thanks very much for the very kind words, Debbie. I loved the word when I saw it, so I'm glad I was able to make good use of it - at least in some people's opinion :) Cheers, Craig

Hey, another great word. I want the book that has inspired all these poems, I've taken the title and I'm going to send away for it. You've done another great job of fitting an obscure word into a modern context. That is the strength of this series of poems and I'm really enjoying them.
Thanks for this one and have a lovely day/night, Ana :)

Once again, thanks very much, Ana. I'm the first to admit, trying to produce a piece every day, they can't all be masterpieces. But I'm thrilled that you have enjoyed at least some of them. I'm sure you'll get great enjoyment from the book. It doesn't really suit my project (and wouldn't be legal anyway) for me to reproduce all the detail they give on each word, so I'm sure you'll get a lot from it. Cheers, Craig

Haha, great new word thanks!
The "curfuggle" certainly sounds at home with HP and his half wit prince LOL
Your rhyming impeccable and your wit is razor.
Loved!
Well done

I googled a list of doozies awhile back and had something half written but it will probably never see the light of day.
Then again, you may have inspired me to finish it haha.
I had some WAY COOL words.
Haven't seen your curfuggle though LOL
Cheers mate

Sadly you have hit the nail on the head. We are losing our democracy to autocracy. We have a Putin puppet for our president. Putin could not be happier. Thank you for sharing

Comment from Gloria ....
A most clever and biting satire, Craig. Have you ever noticed he never does interviews without "white noise" in the background when answering journalists questions? Helicopters usually but I got a real charge out of the birds, who were soooooooooo noisy but white noise is used to quiet anxiety among people living with autism. White noise therapy is used for other conditions too. There is something wrong and someone is hiding a big secret and they should spill it, so the rest of us can learn how to work with it.
Loved the big gob line and an excellent limerick in fine metre.
Thanks for the share.

All we can hope for is he lasts his term because the Vice-President is a genuinely evil man who believes he is God.
