"Morning and Days End", is short, succinct and to the point. Every line of this talented poet's work is woven with the golden threads of truth. It was a pleasure to both read and review a work of this standard.

I like the comparison of a single day to a lifetime.
Brief darkness- a fine way to say 'death'.
The last line reaffirms our belief in God and heaven.
Nice use of the plosives 'd' and 'b'.

If there were separate stars for cuteness, Liam would receive one million! (Love the name as well!)----Few things in life are as gratifying as being a grandparent...to live long enough to see the fruits of our children and to wrap them in love...

A very well-written Tanka. We can call ourselves very lucky when we can see our grandchildren often. They are growing so fast, before we know they are grown and have children of their own.

This is a great piece and very well written. I like the comparison between morning/days end(night) and child/adult as well as the ending line "dawn begins eternity". The eternal cycle of day to night is similar to the cycle of birth and the progression from child to man. Thank you for sharing this and good luck in the contest
