I can count to ten in three languages. Does that make me a triglot? Or just a wannabe? This was a wonderful little poem which did a great job of illustrating the definition of your new word,

I used to be able to do it in five. But as the years have gone by, I've found that the French, Spanish and Italian are so similar it tends to become a horrible mish-mash of all of them. I can still manage (just) in German and English, though. Many thanks, Patty :) Craig

Hi Craig. Don't some people think the Rosetta Stone is holy. Christianity did not exist back then. I love ancient civilizations. Alexander the Great was unusual for his day in allowing captive people to govern themselves in peace. I would have liked to see the library of Alexandria from his day. Thank you for sharing

What a most clever idea, Craig, and finally someone has revealed the true identity of Rosetta Stone. All this time I thought it was a rock and as it turns out it was a cultured and most clever female who learned all those languages to find dates all over the world. I'm not overly fond of dates, too sweet, but if it was figs, you can count me right in.


A fun limerick in perfect form and triglot is a pretty cool word. :)
