Hi Craig. I think it is possible for humans to survive on Europa. Except for the temperature. Maybe nothing would grow. Radiation from Jupiter is a huge problem. Here is an interesting article. Thank you for sharing

A great rhyming poem Craig with good use of this day's word.
I think astronomers live in a world of their own, surely.

Thanks so much, Valda. I guess if someone can live on another world, it's astronomers. And The Don (not Bradman), of course. He's on another planet :) Cheers, Craig
Comment from Gloria ....
Ha, well these are important things to get wrong and then get right again and then wrong again, because it give curriculum writers something to do with their time. Mind you with the current administration there's enough lies and fiction they'll be busy for decades trying to clean up the mess.
Excellent word on a very important subject. Now Mickey Mouse can change the name of his dog back again.
Enjoyed. :)

LOL, Gloria. 2003 UB 313 would be a pretty daft name for a dog.
"Roll-your-own History 101" - sounds good to me for an undergraduate college class.
Many thanks,
Craig

Talk Nonsense To Prissy
(She Couldn't Care Less)
No matter how hard I might try,
I can't understand how and why
astronomers think it's okay
to lead poor, dumb bunnies astray...
They once said the Earth was just flat.
Reach the edge and I'd fall off--kersplat!
I think I would cry if I fell into sky,
so when they talk, I send in my cat.

LOL Prissy will set them straight, no worries! I prefer your version to mine, but sadly, I don't get to award stars! :-P
Many thanks, Dawn :)

Hi Craig. I enjoyed reading your write on the injustice of dropping Pluto. In Astrology, Pluto is a very weighty planet. Whether science recognizes it as a planet or not, it won't go away to astrologers. Denary--new word for the day. Marilyn

Poor Pluto. I hope it gets back with the original 9. Then they could end it there & start a new category that would allow all those other wannabe planets in but leave our solar system alone. Great job, great notes Craig. I always enjoy your offerings in this book. Jan

Or just recognise that Pluto, unlike all the moons, doesn't orbit a planet, just the sun. I swear, scientists are for the most part extremely smart, but sometimes they have no common sense! Cheers, Craig

A very well-written poem about the fate of pluto in the universe. I like pluto specifically its heart shape on the surface that made me wonder how we know to make the heartshape before we see the planet in its glory.

Hi, Craig,
Besides being informative, your poem shines with a nice rhythm and rhyme. I've always wondered about poor Pluto. I wonder if they will reinstate the abandoned planet. They would essentially have to admit a mistake.
Thank you for sharing your new word; now I have something other than ten to call those occasional groupings,

I always thought Pluto had rather shoddy treatment. Nice work using what must have been a hard word to fit. I suggest you send this to the powers that be in defence of dear old Pluto.

LOL, I'm sure they would attach great weight to my protestations, Emma. Hey, that would make me a protestant! (again). Thanks for reviewing, always good to hear from you - Craig

New words are simply like gold dust for us writers and here's another one 'deanary', effectively laced into a poem bemoaning the disappearance of 'poor old Pluto'
