Oh this one gave me a chuckle, though it was sad for Sam who ended up like strawberry jam. What an amazing word this one is, well used Craig.
cheers,
valda

Why do any of them do it without a net? Beats me! Sorry if I put you off your breakfast :) Thanks for reviewing, Susan.

Oh my God, Craig what a fate that poor schoenobatist faced. Falling to his dearth and the having the dubious honor of looking like strawberry jam. Jikes! I loved it. All the best. Ulla:))

Craig, this is a really great limerick about the tight walker named Sam. You used very good words that rhymed and went well talking about Sam. I enjoyed very much! Blessings, Teri

Hi, Craig,

Well...I guess that's what happens when you're silly enough to walk the rope without checking to make sure it is dry!

Strawberry jam is what I usually put in my PB&J sandwiches - guess I won't be doing that for a while!

Yep, once again, you had me giggling out loud -- this style just cannot help but be light and fanciful and, boy howdy!, did you nail the humor! :) :) Actually had to look that one up to see how to pronounce it ... think I'll stick to tightrope walker as it's a lot easier on the poor tongue! :) :)

Thanx for the smile this afternoon! :)

Thanks for the smile you put on my face with the fun review. I totally agree, it's not a word I'm likely to throw out there in casual conversation :) Cheers, Craig

You gotta have nerves of steel to do a job like this, I guess the pay and notoriety is pretty good as long as you can keep yourself from splatting onto the ground. Strawberry jam is course a vivid description as I imagine his bones splintering into a hundred little seed like shapes. Shudder.

Excellent limerick, Craig. Don't take this up as a hobby unless it's just three inches off the grass.

One thing that happens to men once they get past that magical number that won't be named, is their balance starts to go. These days, I start wishing I had a safety harness if I get beyond the third step on a ladder :) Many thanks for the fun review, Gloria.

Well executed limerick, Craig. Alas, for Sam and with that name, the inevitable rhyme had to be "jam." Lol.
Wonder why anyone would want to be a schoenobatist when it would be more fun to be a funambulist.

A very well-written limerick about the tightrope walker. They are walking on those ropes like experts but when they slip and fall by accident it will be quite a mess and they can get hurt very badly.

Good job, Craig, with your limerick for your unusual word. All fir=t nicely to create a good poem. I like the use of 'strawberry jam' to describe the scene of the tightrope walker probable death or at least serious life threatening injuries. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Thanks, Jan. It is a bit of a gruesome way to describe it, I guess... but I've seldom been accused of good taste :) Cheers, Craig
