Hi, Craig,
Mannusculpt is a lovely word. It implies to me to take a manuscript and carve it in stone. Well, since I've been working on the final proof of my latest book, it has become carved into my brain!
Thank you for sharing this succinct twenty syllable piece. I wish you luck in the contest,

I'm sure your brain isn't made of stone, Patty, though sometimes it feels as if mine is. I'm grateful for the kind words and good wishes. Craig

For the sheer humor and yet the cleaver message you gave, beside the contest entry is spot on, this one has to have a six from me. Very nicely done and good luck

Thanks very much, Barb. You're doing amazingly well to still have one of those at the end of the week! I'm most grateful :) Craig
Comment from Gloria ....
Oh, manusculpt, that also could apply to sculpture and well I guess that is what it is.
A fine entry into the 20 syllable contest, Craig. Sadly I am out of sixes again. there's just never enough of them. :)
Good luck and I might remember this one even.

Oddly, when I hear this word, I think of some oily man with an amazing six-pack (a bit like me in my younger days HAHAHA)
I know the feeling, I am bankrupt of shininess until tomorrow, too.
Many thanks, Gloria.

OMGoodness what fun artwork and poem. The word itself, "manusculpt," is perfect to describe writing in stone. I suppose that would apply to gravestone engravers, too. Good job. Marilyn

Many thanks, Marilyn, for the most kind words. It sounds to me what a man who places too much importance on his appearance might spend a lot of time doing. Cheers, Craig

Well, since He only used His finger, wouldn't it be digi-sculpt? But not digitized. Enjoyed your 20-syllable entry and use of it to continue illuminating us with new words.

Thanks again, Helen. Or perhaps Moses imagisculpted it? Water was scarce in the desert, and they tended to drink a lot of wine, I believe. Cheers, Craig

So manusculpt is also a verb? I noticed that Fanstory is telling me I misspelled this word, lol. This one is going to be very hard to work into conversation. Unless I mention, casually, that the Ten Commandments were actually manusculpted. How interesting to do this with only a finger!
Well done :)

No, it isn't! I remember thinking it sounded like it should be a verb, then quite forgetting and writing it as one anyway. Thanks so much for picking up on that, Carol :)

A very well-written twenty syllable poem about the ancient ten commandments manusculpt on stone tablets for the Israelites as a guideline of how to please God and behave according to the ten commandments.

This is a good presentation, Craig. The picture supports your words well. But even without a picture your message comes through clearly. It is interesting to think that other civilizations could have been as advanced, or more, than the Egyptians. This is a good way to learn new words, too, using Latin roots. Even today, that helps students see the connections. Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

Well, I don't think the Israelites were anywhere near equal to the Egyptians, Jan. But according to them, they had a pretty neat advantage. Most grateful, Craig
