Giggling again. Nice work on the art. A very clever response to this writing prompt. This is also very funny. I don't have much else to say other than this is only nine words and I have to review the hell out of it or it won't save. All this for one point and 2 cents.
But I digress.

Writer I would say this is a typical question to come from Shakespeare because he is definitely a man that uses brains and it reflects in his writings I think this is a very clever way of using the word why on both ends

Second one to comment on this "type" of contest! I totally agree. A bit of a challenge would be nice. Love what you have done here with the Shakespearean thing. Great job and good luck in this ever so difficult challenge.

Thank you for the excellent review, Wendy. I know the site does these simple prompts so more people will get in the action but yes, a little more of a challenge would be great here and there. I really appreciate the gracious stars. I'm glad you liked the piece. Have a wonderful weekend.

This is one of the most restrictive poem formats I've seen. I like (and agree with) the statement you're making here.
Well done.
Best of luck in the contest,

Thank you for the fantastic review, LynnetteOK. I know the site throws these simple contests because they fill up quickly and lets more people get in the action but it seems like anymore, any contest requiring more than 5 minutes of thought takes 3 or 4 reposts before there's even the minimum 5 entries to go to the booth. It's like folks are afraid to challenge their minds. I don't get it. So if all they want to throw are these simple contests, I'll just have to mock them, lol. I really appreciate the gracious stars, L. Thank you again. Have a wonderful weekend.

-I couldn't resist your entry
about the bard.
-That is some artwork-
I think he is frowning at
the level of the poetic requirement!
-I like the message in the middle
line, and the question after the
concluding why--"why, indeed,"
I think he would say.
-Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for the great review, Pam. I took a couple different pictures and manipulated them, giving him the appropriate frown, lol. I really appreciate the gracious stars and good luck wishes. I'm glad you liked this silliness. Have a wonderful weekend.

Goodm job on the syllable count as required, Mystery Author, Your repeated word fits in smoothly. You pose a great question to readers. You are right about how fast those shorties fill up when announced. With the large number of entries, the votes are really spread thin, too. Best wishes. Jan

That's for sure. Not too many people go out of their way to vote in the booths. Thank you for the great review for this silliness, Jan. Have a wonderful weekend.

Well, try or not you make this prompt look effortless. There is a whole world in your point of view of the Bard. The expression, hands and choice of words are wonderfully conjoined to give an experience that is very full.

Thank you for the great review, Shauna. I took a couple different pictures and put them in an art program and manipulated it to look like this. It actually took more time creating the picture rather than the words, lol. I really appreciate the generous stars. I'm glad you liked this silly piece. Have a wonderful weekend.

lol This is a very cute 1-7-1 poem you have penned for the prompt. You used a very real question that might have been asked by Shakespeare. You used very good imagery from the art work. Best wishes in the contest. Blessings, Teri
