Hi, Craig,

Wouldn't it be great if there really were 'universal equality?' There wouldn't be anyone to be prejudiced against or anyone to make others feel superior. It really would be a strange world.

Thank you for sharing your poetic gift with us to explain this new word,

~Mustang Patty~

Yes, how would we possibly deal with that, Patty? Thanks so much for the thoughtful comments.

So very true, Craig. "We're born, we live, we die" ... every single one of us. We can be different in some aspects of our lives, but when it comes to the basics of life, we are all the same.

Thanks for teaching another word ... 'omniparity'. "We all are equal, never mind the color of our skin" ... my favorite line of this well written poem. Excellent rhyming and very well presented.

Cheers,
Connie

I like this very much, Craig. I can imagine omnitalented is a good thing to be. Oh yes and parity too.

A good social commentary for folks to be nice and stop judging others on things that are irrelevant to their own lives.

I like it and the metre's pretty good too. :)

Hi Craig. Very good word, "omniparity." I agree with that concept. Live and let live is the best way to live. Always a timely theme. Well composed. Marilyn

Loved this well thought-out poem, Craig. And I agree that only God is omnipotent (though not in a way we'd always like) and omnipresent and omniscient. But before Him, we are all in omniparity. This poem would serve well to illustrate the meanings of these omni- words.

What a super word - omniparity. All men are created equal according to some great minds. As usual, your work flows smoothly from verse to verse and has a continuing sense of humor with sage advice. Blessings to you, Linda

It's much more appealing than all those other omnis, I think. Many thanks for the wonderful comments and rating, Linda. I really appreciate them. Craig

A very well-written poem. We are all just human and no one should be above the other. But Jesus is the son of God who taught the apostles how we should serve God. If I do what Jesus said and belief in the God who created everything, we have nothing to lose when we die but when we are stubborn and choose not to follow God's doctrine we can loose everything.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh...

For once your chosen word makes sense
to one as thick as I.
Some of the ones you used before
would make a linguist cry.

I like this word, it suits my style!
I'm stealing it from you.
And if that doesn't sit well, Craig,
then bawl, big suck! Boo-hoo. (HAHAHAHAHAHA)

(Feisty? Moi? Never. *snicker*)

Hahaha. I see you're being omnifeisty again. Whatever... take it! I'm used to having all my best stuff pinched. The discovery of electricity, for example. Ben Franklin is a thief! Penicillin? Yes, where have you ever seen me acknowledged for that, huh? Gravity? That too!

    Thank you, ma'am :)

reply by Dawn Munro on 20-Sep-2018
Just because your wife says you swept her off her feet does NOT mean you discovered gravity. You MIGHT have discovered penicillin -- I'm allergic, so that adds up, but electricity? I'm shocked! No way, Jose. I went to school with Ben Franklin's great, great, great, great (how many is that?) great, great nephew, and the family was very wealthy. They own Ontario Hydro. Rob Ford, our new Ontario Premier, fired the executives, but the Franklins are still getting paid, even after trillions of dollars in retirement packages. So there, liar, liar. (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Not me. I never lie.)

I agree with this poem wholeheartedly. Omniparity is the only omni thing we should all work towards. The others may be considered sinful by most religions.

Keep writing
