LOL!
Yes, if she heard any of that, you would surely be in big trouble. I can remember the struggle for power in our marriage. There were many times when I looked at my husband when he talked about 'we' or 'I' when he wasn't the author of the story.
But, it all turned out well. He owns the house and cars on paper, and I give him permission to use them,

LOL
I took a different approach the first time. I found a woman I didn't like and gave her most of everything I owned. Round 2 is working out much better so far, after 18 years or so ;-)

Excellent. I do like this one a lot. I do like a man who shares responsibility for himself, realizing he's part of the twosome who makes the mess. That being said, women have emasculated men to the point where they don't know which way to hop and that's a shame on us. Marilyn

Life for people in general can be confusing these days. Sometimes it seems so much simpler thinking back to my parents' time. Still, what if we had the choice to go back? As the old saying goes, we'd need to worry about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Thanks again for the kind words.

Hi Craig. Despite our bellyaching--women want a man's man for a partner. Frankly, I'm grateful not to be a man. We're definitely hard to please. Marilyn

A very well-written poem about a polly in the cottage that simply means a man that like to help around the house. The modern man of today are more willing to help out in the house than the older generation.

I think yer grammer and yer spelling stink.
But then, I guess it's wrong, yer ship to sink.
Ya wear the pants,
and I've a chance
ya won't just toss me hide into the drink.

Hi Craig. You are so hilarious. ROFL. Sure you can spel. I also laughed at the humor, I kind of knew that she was the boss. A helpless man such as he would have to come to meals when calls so it's hot. But I laughed again when I misread wot as not. Very well done and loads of fun. I still had a six star rating reserved for you. Thank you for sharing

Thanks very much, meeshu. Kind of cute, in a laughably incorrect sort of way, isn't it? Cheers, Craig

Lol. I know you can spell and I also know that you wouldn't use "are" with "it" nor always start a line with 'I' -- Lol. Good one. There's probably a good reason this isn't used anymore.

This is hilarious. You are bold to vent away from her and boast about your masculinity, even using the word "I", instead of "we".
Well, are you going to show her poem? If so, please write a sequel to this one.
Gotta love this poem. I am still smiling as I write this review.

I will write a sequel, as soon as I get out of hospital.
(Yes, it was a joke, please don't worry lol)
I'm glad you got a smile from it, and I appreciate the lovely, kind words.

Haaaaaaaa, this is hilarious, Craig. Polly-in-the-cottage is one of those terms that is well worth keeping in the memory banks.
Glad to see these bookends highlighting the real issue which is who wot wears de pants in the family.
Most enjoyable, you.

I think it's actually quite cute, in a cringeworthy sort of way. There's no question about who wears the pants, Gloria. I do whatever she damn well feels like :)
