This three-line poem, Richness, uses fifteen words and introduces another cool word to our ever-expanding vocabulary. Nice.

Thanks once more. Much appreciated.
Comment from --Turtle.
Straight forward, to the point.
I appreciate the contradiction, using the opposite of boswellise to give a sense of what boswellise means, the cake to the icing of the second theme.
A sweet, endearing sentiment... pleasant arrangement.
The use of brief first helps provide a roadmap to how boswellise sounds.
I also like the feel of love giving life quality that comes across.

Whew! I'm so exhausted! I've been travelling the world wide web looking for that word... Alas, the only thing I could locate was: "Boswellize"---(with a "z")--which apparently refers to James Boswell, who (strap on my chute and jump into the web again)it is said that "He is best known for the biography he wrote of his friend and contemporary, the English literary figure Samuel Johnson, which is commonly said to be the greatest biography written in the English language. Holy research bat-poet! You sparked all this curiosity with your three lined poem! Good for you! I will spend the rest of my year trying to tactfully drop this word into SOME conversation...just because you injected it into my brain! (smile)

Haha, thanks, Karenina. Yes, it's the same word, you just found the Americanised version ;-) (See, no Z! lol)
I'm glad it sparked your curiosity, and I'll most definitely be looking forward to a report, when you successfully find somewhere to use it. Then I might have to Boswellise you for your outstanding effort :)
Many thanks,
Craig

I was curious about the etymology as I think of frankincense when I see boswellia. But I saw one reference that it comes from the author, Boswell. Fun word - but I still wish it had to do more with frankincense.

Yes, frankincense would be better... especially around halloween. Oh wait -- that's Frankenstein. Many thanks, Helen.
Comment from Gloria ....
Well I just love this succinct and perfectly apt write for the three line poetry contest. I undoubtedly won't remember the word, even though it has a nice puppy sound to it for some reason, I think of Bowser. LOL
Wishing you luck with the contest committee.

A very well-written three line poem to tell a lover exactly what you feel without using unnecessary words to make it a long winding story, you can boswellize it quickly.

This is an interesting word--"boswellise." Having had to write a eulogy recently, I think it's important to be accurate--not to overstate or understate the person's importance. Last line is what it's all about. Great job with this short piece. Marilyn

I'll not boswellise either (I love using your words). I'll simply say that this is sweet. My life is richer reading your little posts. Thank you for this gift.

It sure is, Jan (nice to read a happy poem, that is). Understandably, many things poets can write about today aren't all that happy subjects, so a change is always good, for the writer too. Many thanks, Craig
