Hi Craig (if that's your real name). I knew of the first two but not the third. It makes sense for a woman to write under a male name. Harder to get away with now in the days of the internet though. Is there a glass ceiling for women writers? Probably! This is excellent. Marilyn

Thanks very much, Marilyn. My real name? I'm surprised you even need to ask. Imagine someone on the internet not being who they claim! For the record, yes, it's really Craig. At least that's what my parents used to call me :)

I would give you a six for that effort if I could! I must finish reading your book so I can leave a review. I got half way, then other things interrupted, and I haven't managed to get back to it since.

A fun tease through this poem to highlight the word of the day in a tongue and cheek way.

You did really well with leading curiosity along with hints and dangling ... I think the word I'm looking for is drama? conspiracy? to then play with women who've opted to take male pen names. I wonder how many men take women pen names? Probably not as many, at least not back in the day.

Maybe moreso in the future?

Either way, this entertained and brought to attention that there's a word for it.

I've been considering pseudandry for myself... if I ever finish a work to publish under any name.

Aha! I knew it. What a cute poem, Craig and there was a time when females weren't really allowed to participate in writing with any degree of sincerity, then there's the Stephen King/Richard Bachman thang to prove that name recognition is a thang.
