"I like this word. In fact, please send me ALL your poems so I can learn them all."
"Prissy! What are you doing?"
"Er,hi, Mom. Nothin'. Just asking really nicely for Mr. Craig to send me his work so I can learn all the new words."
"We don't do that, Priss. It's too much to ask. But you can ask him if he's going to publish a book, and then we can buy it, yes?"
"Oh..."

I'm not publishing a book with all 365 poems, for the simple reason I don't think they're all of publishable standard. But I did do a book of 40, of which many came from this project :) And, all 365 of them are lumped together in a "Fanstory" book, which is still up there on my profile. Thanks so much for your interest, Miss Prissy. I appreciate it muchly ;-)

"Ok. I will look for your book when Mom gives me my allowance. But I needed ALL the words."=^..^=

How clever you are, Craig, to do a mnemonic for the word mnemonicon. Your acrostic is actually quite good. Makes me wonder again how you do it everyday. You must talk in rhyme and meter format. Your rhymes are always so creative and fun and your rhythm is spot on. Really remarkable.

I don't talk in rhyme - at least not all the time. Though, when all's said and done, it really could be fun.

Thanks so much for the lovely comments, Debbie. I really am grateful, Craig

Clever way to use what seems a complicated word to me.I sometimes need one of these little aids when I can't recall a word I want to use. Hope you enjoy your trip away, and well done for this year of unusual word poems.
cheers,
valda

Yep, so true. If one doesn't take time to create a mnemonicon filing system retrieving memories can be quite the convoluted process running through the entire collection of unfiled memories. Thank goodness our brains have b built in colour-coded folders.

Most enjoyed this lovey acrostic. :)

Brilliant to make an acrostic out of mnemonicon. I heard one the other day: if we stress over whether we forgot to turn something off or lock the door before leaving, we can say something ridiculous aloud while doing the locking or turning off - like "sophisticated octopus!"

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Then all we need to do is remember which ridiculous phrase we thought of, so we can remember the actual thing. Thanks so much, Helen. I'm going to have to try that! Cheers, Craig

Hi Craig. I like your acrostic. This poetry form is a good way to recall lines, words, etc. by clue-giving. LOL! Surely memory slipping a bit as we age.
I particularly like these lines, which brought a smile:
"Each episode is stored some place in there
Much of the time I'm just not quite sure where
Our mind can make use of some little tricks"

This acrostic poem, MNEMONICON, follows the vertical theme and reminds us how to remind ourselves of larger information by compressing it to memorable acronyms.

Hello, Craig. These devices could be worth their weight in gold if they really worked and were readily available.... how it would change the aging process as we know it. Good job on the clever use of an acrostic... well done.

Yep! I could also do with this device, I write everything down because I forget everything! Without my diary I would be lost! Your acrostic is well written with clever rhyming, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Hi Craig. Happy New Year! I hope you had a nice Christmas. I, too will be posting far less next year. This poem of yours is the first I have ever seen by you that does not have the new word. I checked three times. Lol. Don't trust my old eyes. Enjoy your trip. Your poem definitely defined the word. Good job. Thank you for sharing

Hehe. It's an acrostic, Pam. Look down the first letter of every line. The red letters spell a word :)

Thanks for the support all year, and have a great New Year's!

    Cheers,
    Craig
