My favorite kind of history. The kind you change or adjust to fit your particular point of view and prove that you and yours are the greatest produced by the world and world events. Ergo, my people invented everything good and useful, while your people only invented stealing.

This poem is really good! Love this! You nailed this theme! It rolls off the tongue like a nursery rhyme, is educational, amusing, and your artwork choice perfect to the poem's theme. (Wonder if we should go back to this method of choosing a king? Uh, I mean President.)

Thanks, WW. We could recast the characters as King Donald, his mentor Vladimerlin, and the evil sister Nancy Pelosi.

Interesting word. Some people cling to myths and treat them as the truth. The story of George Washington chopping down the cherry tree is too good not to be true. Phantasmagorical--another good word. Excellent rhyme in this. Cleverly done. judi

I thought rhetorical was a question which doesn't require an answer. Your picture reminds me of Prince Valiant. Finding out what phantasmagorical means was worth the price of admission. Very nice job.

Thanks, Earl. You are referring to a 'rhetorical question'. That's a sentence one uses while speaking that is meant more as a statement of perceived conditions. "So, what am I, chopped liver?" No answer expected.

Very clever..you have a way with words. Like the image as well, it seems to fit. How about a series about foxes? I really like them and how sly they are...thanks for the smiles you bring! :)

Thanks for posting now so that I can wish you a timely, peaceful and productive 2019.
I liked your title and its being a new vocabulary word for me, and your parallel picture selection. Your addition of rhymes was very effective. Cheers- Joan

Lol! I like that word. Seems like every nation has its own mythistorical beginnings like some beast becomes human etc. I like that you refer us to the Arthurian tale. Nice one, Bill!

I'll just bet 'cha you had a lotta fun rhyming these words, Bill.
Whether you did or whether you didn't is really irrelevant.
The fact that you did is good enough for me.
Clever write...
