I enjoyed my trip to this majestic land where epiphanies are as
common as butterflies. The format/style is very appealing, just sweeping
the reader right along for the vivid scenes and romance.

This poem, When the Dust Clears, presented in an AABBBAA, 10,10,5,5,5,10,10 framework, creates the magical world to bring fun and adventure to the day. Fun stuff.

This poem incorporates two of your favorite things, Yvette--sprites and lovely colors. I can just see your smile as you wrote it. Your muse was working overtime with this one. A handsome face took all your worries away and gave your attitude a new lease on life. I have heard all that before, but never so beautifully told in verse.
I truly enjoyed this one.

Oh, you know me faaaar too well, MQ! :) And I do use the 'escape to fantasy land' to find my new attitudes....probably more often than you would expect - LOL! :) ;) Thank you for your wonderful words and for those bright, shiny stars...I'll place them in the sky where the sun's supposed to be...even though ol' Ra seems to have taken a vacation lately! :) :) Take care down there! :) Yvette :)

Were you inhaling the aroma of a potplant!??? Yvette, this is beautiful. You're so much more poetically expressive than I ever will be. I agree that worrying is not productive. You pen a cute way to deal with it. As to fairies, hmmm St Patrick's Day will be here soon and you'll be the perfect writer for it LOL
Thanks for sharing your talent
Hugs, Trisha

A very well-written poem about dreaming about the perfect prince charming that seems to side-step us in real life but certainly comes alive in our dreamworld and make us feel alive again. Lol.

What a wonderful experience, almost like being there with you, having sprites dance along with you and your handsome prince. Good meter and rhyme. I, too, have my own imaginary places to go when stressed. lol. Does that sound crazy?

That, my friend, is not crazy at all -- in fact, I would say it is quite healthy! :) Dwelling on the stress does NOTHING good for ANYONE -- dream, My Lady, Dream! :) :) Have a wonderful week ahead dreaming up princes of your own -- you know, we 'girls' are never too old for them in our imagination! :) ;) Yvette :)

OH WOW, this story in a poem, of course, is the winner. The picture described as if you are the one in it. The sentences follow your thoughts and feelings like the gentle waves in the ocean -- the dancing and dreaming while waiting for this feeling to last forever. Of course, the rhyming offers a different tune to the music. Good Luck. My six is yours to give you more happiness. Love Terry xoxo

It seem so real. That fairy is there to steal the heart of the maiden, so fair and so wild, that Sprites glow in a breeze of the air. And lo and behold comes a prince to enchant and change that upside-down frown into a smile turned around. :) This is a good entry to Share A Story in a Poem contests. ;) :) Thank you for sharing.

Hey, whatever works for you. If I had your fay prince, no doubt I'd be visiting him on a regular basis too. Lol! Lots of fairy characters and plenty of dancing sprites. It was a fun read. Good luck in the contest!
