This is a well told eerie Halloween story. It tells of hauntings that happen only on this night. I bet no one goes near their on Halloween much. At least not near enough for the dead bloody bride to see. Maybe if some one could get them to pass over to the other side, they would be together forever.
Congrats on placing third in the contest.

You never cease to blow me away with your poems! Exceptionally written and well thought out. I can see the scene playing out in my head as I read it and that is a sign of a great poet!

A very well-written scary poem about a certain event that seems to occur on Halloween nights to show the tragic death of a bride and groom to be, still waiting for the ceremony to give their vows.

This is indeed a ghostly and eerie tale and I enjoyed your horror within. I do have a couple of suggestions for you for the sake of meter to improve the flow:
Second line:
"The veil becomes thin"
Change to "the veil becoming thin"
"On Halloween though, the curtain is pulled,"
Change to "on Halloween, with curtain pulled"
Love Dolly x

A sad tale entwined in disaster and a love that can never be. They are killed by another never to be able say those words everyone wants to hear.Spirts look on watching and waiting.

That's creepy. I think I'll be staying away from that house. I don't want her pointing toward me! I like the part about the lady in white playing tunes. Good luck in the contest.

This was a well-written poem with a well-chosen image to match. It truly sets a macabre atmosphere. There is an aura of mystery because we are told just enough - that there was a jealous lover involved in their deaths - but not too much. Good luck in the voting.

Well done on using the prompt! This is a suitably eerie and original story in verse for the season. Just one thing; pictures are hung, people are hanged. If wouldn't make a difference to the meter.
