You have spoke volumes in such brevity. This writing as well as the visual art selection are exceptional. I find it dark, yet optimistic as to our
mortality and regeneration.

This little sentence is to true The artwork works well to illustrated the words. The cloak will come off and the person will be lighter from the love of the child in the carriage.
Congrats on finishing second in the contest.

Those babies and little children's souls are certainly remarkable and life-affirming, as the poem and graphic choice here affirm. Even if a grownup doesn't believe in God, there is still a light in their eyes that cannot be denied. Nice share!

Such a brief yet powerful poem. Looking at the pure joy in a grandfather's eye, I must agree with you.

The poem is well written and certainly inspirational, but the picture you paired it with really confuses me. Is this perhaps another tribute to Dean? If so, the picture is appropriate.

I see the depth of despair with life-reinforcing butterflies emerging from the perambulator.

Ok, now I get it. You have a blessed day, Bill.

Hi Bill. LOL! Whatever doesn't kill us, cures us. (Just kidding.) Our kids and grandkids do give us revival and reason to continue. Despite the illustration (which is terrific) this is a "happy" poem from my point of view. Marilyn

Bill,
This is so good that I shared your text with my families and friends. As a grandparent, this feeling has been extended another generation!
Thanks for your posting. Methinks it will do A-OK in the voting.

Hi Bill, so very true. Kids have that ability and that's a blessing. your picture seems almost a bit sinister but that surely can't be your intention. Or have I missed the point? Good luck. All best. Ulla:))

I?m not certain of the artist?s intent, but mine was to point out new beginnings from what seems like the end.
