June,
This brings to mind a sunrise on a tropical island. The words and artwork match well. This minute poem tells of th beauty and hope of a sunrise.

Thank you so much! Wish I were lounging around on a tropical island at sunrise...without a mask...

You are most kindly welcome, June.
I wish I could be in Scotland without a mask.

This is beautiful, and full of such powerful images, June. Congratulations on winning second place in the Minute Poetry contest. It is a most deserved prize. I especially loved the second stanza. The sun painting the sky with amber strokes is so appealing, and the swaying dew-kissed trees adds to the wonderful ambiance. Well done, and a true delight to read, this first day back online. ~MM

Oh, can I just relax my shoulders and sigh...? Aaaaaah, June - such a lovely offering in this cold season, my lady -- wonderful imagery and descriptive terms 'liquid gold' and the sun painting and 'dew-kissed' and.... yeah, siiiiiigh. Thanx for the reprieve from the Winter, if only in vision and hope! ;) :) Good luck in the contest! ;) Yvette
