This 3-5-3, Passion Can Be Perilous, has the right set up and reminds those out there searching for love that some wild things leave deep scars.

Your passion poem is interesting and your artwork choice even more interesting. You really pulled this poem from the depths of your imagination. Best wishes!

Yes, and not taming it can lead one astray in many ways. There's intellect and passion, and we as humans often struggle with that. Nice poem for your 3-5-3 entry.

Thanks for the read and review. Yes, we surely need to be rational so desire does not turn to obsession.

Wow. . . this is so true, especially in today's world. You just never know who is safe to stand beside and who is not. I love the artwork you've chosen to accompany your writing. . .it works so perfectly. Best of luck to you with this piece.

While you probably meant this on an adult level, it could be the motto for anyone, adult or child, dealing with ADHD and the impulsivity it can prompt. I read this and immediately thought of my daughter and every potentially dangerous or harmful action she took based on impulse. Obviously, your poem is believable and relatable on many levels. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks much for your read and comments. I have experience as principal with special education students. I have seen medication, properly prescribed, do wonders in helping these students. Hope all goes well for your family.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We have a teenager who's bright beyond her years intellectually, but often lags years behind emotionally. The doctors are experimenting with different medications, as some of what worked when she was younger is no longer as effective now that she's older, but we're hanging in and so is she. We're hoping that age will do even more than medicine to curb the impulsivity.
Have a lovely day.

We wish the best for her. As long as she has supportive parents she has a good chance of aging out.

Thank you. I hope so. She most definitely has supportive parents.
