This is a well-written Nonet about the rhino. You have described the rhino very well. Large, yet passive.
Great job! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day.

Thank you.
Comment from Gloria ....
Cute and I like that the second line with fewer syllables is longer, even though that is not supposed to be how it goes. LOL.
These huge animals always mystify me and how they grow so big on vegetables.
Excellent theme author and a fine animal nonet. Best of luck to you in the voting booth. :)

Gloria, thanks pushing the envelope, I never colored inside the lines very well and alas, I still don't LOL

I loved the rhyming nonet about the Rhino. I only ever saw this colossal animal in the Zoo. And in wild-life documentaries, of course. Impressive but gentle, as you described. Beautiful photo.
Good luck!

Your poem about the rhino is impressive -- and so is your picture! How beautiful! You do transform him into a charming creature, and I applaud your knack of rhyming within the limitations of the nonet. Good advice there, at the end, "Don't push!"

This Nonet tells of the Rhino.
Well done and I wish you luck in the contest.

Hello Writer of the Rhino
I see you used the nonet format, which is good, because, you described the huge animal as gentle, but don't get it upset.

The white rhino is definitely endangered, there are only two Northern females, and a few more southern ones. Slaughtered for their horns, which has little basis in factual working as a aphrodisiac, the question is why? A beautifully written nonet, a thematically excellent post, good luck, blessings, Roy

This is a great entry for the Nonet on a Favorite Animal contest. Perfect subject, this magnificent beast, threatened with extinction. Nice descriptive phrases. Good luck in the contest.

My good friend! Another thank you for your continued validation. As I sit here watching the snow accumulate in western NC today.
