Everything we ever wanted to know about this creature is here in your informative Author's notes. Also, the poem tells the tale of the Armadillos. I cannot help but wonder, what their purpose is? They are very ugly.

I never thought I read a poem about an armadillo. And I certainly never thought it would be so much fun and informational. All that knowledge wrapped in a few simple words. Isn't poetry fascinating...just like armadillos.

Their handsome mug is legendary
armored, clawed, and belly hairy
I like the near assonance in armored and clawed. And the alliteration in Rs.
pick Giant down through Fairy. Love this choice
Fun name on Spanish tongue:
"little armored one"
and they don't run.
Simple goal:
dig hole
roll
Great close with the rhyming.
Love this fun piece!
Should be boosted up to a six overall now

Of course! And wow thank you for the compliment. You're not too bad looking yourself :)
Hey big favor. I just noticed I think you gave my piece Wading With Dinosaurs a 4. Totally fine and I appreciate that you even read it. But it had gotten a six. Is there any way you could move it to a 5? It's okay if not. It would just bring the general rating up. But I understand either way :)

I like this well thought out ode to the armadillo. I've seen a few of them, but not up close. I know that I've seen a few dead though. Poor things. They have a terrible smell when they're dead. They look like miniature dinosaurs. I also like the rhyme that you've incorporated into this. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!

Thank you for your perfect description of this most unusual creature in this eye-appealing nonet. I appreciated your detailed notes and learned a great deal about the armadillo as well--it may become my favorite animal! Best wishes in the competition- Joan

"Meet the Armadillo!", is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. To me, this is a six, but sadly I've run out of them. I look forward to seeing your next post.

This is a really adorable poem about a remarkable animal. When I see this amazing creature, I marvel all the more at God's creation.
You've actually made your Nonet poem rhyme; kudos! Cute picture, too! Beautifully done. Thank you for the educational description, too -- a bonus!
