Yes, a silver lining that is worth gold. Worldwide people will be more prepared, aware, cautious, helpful, and kinder. These lessons we have learned the hard way.
Well done.

Excellent poem written about life after COVID-19. As the poet suggests, We can only guess how things will change.Hopefully, we will be better prepared. Maybe we will think more of others in need. This poem flows very nicely with lovely messages. Best of luck in the contest!

The author's words were heartfelt, engaging, creative and thought
provoking. The reader found the words of this poem so gentle and hopeful. Also many good and healthy suggestions stated. I believe kindness to each other can lead us to unity. I loved the last stanza which for me says it all. Thank you. May you be well and safe.

I know that we will get through this by the grace of God. We have and will learn many things from this. We will learn and no fully that tomorrow isn't guaranteed. We need to enjoy and be thankful for every moment and every day that we're given. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

After Covid-19
Hello, my friend,
a fine poem entry for the silver lining writing prompt contest. The poem is very optimistic and realistic too. I think you are right, we should be better prepared for a future pandemic. Hopefully, we'll error in the side of caution.

Love the closer--a silver lining that's worth gold. Very witty! I like the part about still being fearful but not hiding. You offer some apt observations and wise suggestions. Cheers. LIZ

This situation is surely being a big fat lesson to us in understanding what is important. Surely we will learn from this and the aspects you mention in your well rhymed poem will be integrated into our communities. Your last stanza brings in the all-important sense of gratitude.

I think this period will teach us a lot of things and maybe you are right, we will learn from it, but we will soon forget, the same as they forgot about the Spanish flu. But I liked the positivity in your words here and hope you are not affected by this virus in any way, love Dolly x

Stanzas that remind us of our shortcomings and sheer shock of this pandemic while also pointing out to us some valuable lessons learned - the final two lines say it succinctly

I seldom rate poetry a 6, but you have written, not only a great poem but have put forth some very mature and good thoughts; as to there being available funds up on the hill, that I would doubt because there will always be some congressman or representative to vote against it. Besides I'm not sure how much good it will do as I think it will be spent on everything but what it was suppose to be.
