A poignant write and anyone who has no regrets is not being entirely honest, but it is wise to forget the past and not let it mar the future, a poignant write, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Great review zanya

This is an excellent poem about the elements that make up life. I would have thrown in the idea of tangled threads, as well as woven/stiched ones, as so much of out lives seems uncontrolled or mixed-up.

I think the answer to this question must be yes. Like the experssion, into each life some rain must fall, we are all suffer from time to time. Hopefully we'll find more joy than sorrow in the tapestry of life, and maybe we can focus on the brighter colors. I like your free verse poem..

this is a unique contest offering, I would think.
Wise and thoughtful - a handle on life.
Without delving deeply into suffering, this poem makes room for it.
Intriguing and well written.

A wonderful poem for this contest. What I liked best is the conciseness with which you made your excellent point. Life is, indeed, a woven tapestry of many colored threads, some bright and beautiful, and some dark. I hope this does well in the contest, because I love it.

Comment from Eternal Muse
An interesting, well artistically presented entry in the Human Suffering contest. I like your descriptive imagery and the topic.
Brilliant lines:
"Is suffering just another
pivotal thread?"
Very deep, excellent in every way, good luck in the contest.

A wonderful presentation of the question for this contest -- we all must stitch our own cloth, how much will we allow suffering to push that needle..? Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;)

A very intriguing poem. It reminds me of a book I have read, the threads of life, etc. I really liked it, and it makes you stop and think. Which in my opinion is good! Your photo also compliments your poem very well. :)
Good luck in the contest!
