First of all, I admire the title...it's captivating and made me curious.
The simple wisdom of the poem is charming. "Delightful monotony' - is a memorable word coupling and rather thought provoking.
The presentation is beautiful, as well.
Good luck at the contest!

If we do as Eckhart Tolle suggests, enjoy the moment we will find our life's melody. There is a book called Surfing the Himalayas that says, "chop wood, carry water before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water after enlightenment. I like how you expressed your poem. Thank you.

You found beauty in just living, we all should live just appreciating what we have. Outside our little cocoon life can be crazy this day and age. People fighting, storms destroying lives, the virus. Monotone life feels good.

I often wonder how poets come up with their poetry. This contest is an eye opener. I see that the brain power of a poet is quite amazing. Well done!

I like it! I am one who prefers the " monotony of daily grace " and compared to all the suddenly life changes that can occur, monotony is a blessing and we can be grateful and take delight in it! Best wishes in the contest!

Hello Mystery Writer,
What a lovely sentiment that speaks volumes. The everyday moments - the small wonders - those are the things that make life meaningful.
Beautifully rendered.

I liked the message behind this piece. Everyone is always so keen for time to move forward or to be successful and they seem to forget that pleasure can be found in the simpler things in life. A well written piece. I enjoyed reading it, good luck in the contest!
