What a personal philosophical musing at watching a falling star.
The commoner- 'me' - just goes "Wow!" and then calls a friend to talk about it.

Hello JLR,
This is an excellent etheree poem for the contest
personifying the stars as passing souls.
There is magic and mystery in the night skies.
One note: I believe line nine has ten syllables.
"whose soul passes above from east to west!"

Robert yes you are correct in a making a tense change I screwed it up, fixed now thanks however I was too late for the contest, ugh!

Excellent etheree, J. I haven't seen a falling star for some time, so I'd say I must look harder. I guess when you look at things by yourself you never really know if another person on the entire planet sees it but you.
One correction needed to be contest compliant:

Excellent etheree, J. I haven't seen a falling star for some time, so I'd say I must look harder. I guess when you look at things by yourself you never really know if another person on the entire planet sees it but you.

A falling star, somewhat a mystery, falls from the sky and we wonder why. Amazing how many people see the same star I see at exactly the same time. I wonder if there is life on other planets seeing the same star too. Great job!
