absolute best
Made me laugh. Loved the right to the point attitude. Hurt me and I'll smack you silly . . .
Lovely imagery as summer melts into autumn. The metaphor of lost love and lost summer is excellent. I like the repetition of the first and last lines for emphasis. And it's altogether well done technically, with perfect rhyme, rhythm and flow.
This one flowed the best and met the contest brief. A nicely written poem
This poem touched me on so many levels.
Simply a remarkably well written poem telling the story of lost love and not wanting to let go of it.
