Reminds me of my childhood! Boomer Sooner!
A story told FROM a child's perspective not ABOUT a child's perspective (and an enjoyable read, to boot).
With the skill of drawing the reader into a world of a child who starves for affection. The characters were well established, and raw emotions were felt. This was written clearly, and with strong characteristics
of the boy.
Such a sad story, told very well.
I love this delightful children's story.
