We must learn to have the acceptance we need all through our life because age isn't the always the reason for our last breath. It sounds like you're ready for it whenever it comes and that leaves you wide open to enjoy fully the life you still have left to enjoy! Good luck in the contest.

-Very nice artwork and presentation.
-I'm sorry to hear about your medical issues,
but you seem to have a good attitude.
-You wrote a good poem with a good topic.
-The syllable count is good.
-The first verse establishes the premise.
-The second verse shows the impact
that letting go of pain has, feeling a "warm glow."
-A very good concluding line showing you are at peace.
-Very well done; good luck in the contest.

Oh this is such a sad poem. But at the same time comforting. It's the hardest thing to lose someone you love but to have faith and belief that they are safe in the hands of God is a gift. This is beautifully written, well done. Good luck with the contest.
Best Wishes
Nicki

This is such a moving poem. I felt like I was ivited into a very personal moment. The way you share the sorrow of parting with the comfort of faith is beautifully done. The closing line, "In the arms of our Lord, now at rest," is so perfect. What a wonderful thought. This is a comforting look at the journey of life and what lies beyond. Keep sharing your heartfelt work!

Hi
What a well written and illustrated poem. In so few words you get the clear message of the Christian faith. In death we find peace. Death doesn't have to be feared.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Good luck in the contest.
Have a great day.
Joan

P S I like your updated one even better the your original. I like the repetition.

    Hi Joan
Thank you for your warm words. I am reminded of the famous poem by Canon Henry Scott-Holland - Death is Nothing at All

    Hi Joan
Please revisit my entry as I had to make a change/addition.
The instructions asked for 3 stanzas and I stupidly entered 1. I simply misread what I had to do. (Perhaps to school I should return.
If you want to remove or change your review then I do not mind
