I accept that you are leaving, giving passport to my grieving,
wasted precious time believing you were true and not deceiving.

Solemn vows now bleed with breaking, screaming with the pain of waking,
Such denial in mistaking I'm immune to your forsaking.

Yesterday I craved your burning, dying deep inside your learning,
I embraced the truth concerning, knowing there is no returning.

Worry not of my survival, you no longer are my rival,
Witness now my soul's arrival coupled with my life's revival.
