Another audition, another rejection.
Emily entered her apartment and was greeted by a familiar mocking voice.
"Emily is a loser!"
Emily cried out, "Stop! Please, not today."
"Emily is a loser!"
"Please don't."
"Emily is a loser!"
"Stop it! I did my best. Please stop!"
Emily reached into her purse and pulled out a gun." A loud bang rattled the room.
"Give me a kiss!" screeched the terrified African Gray parrot.
Emily smiled putting away the prop gun, "Tomorrow, Ollie."
