A Fellow Member

With each meeting, Dan could feel a sense
of dread—
no fellowship with other families
or community service was evident—
this cult club didn't feel right.

Members were quick to frown
at opinions he suggested.
He knew there had to be other choices.
His disgust prompted him to leave.

The Freemasons welcomed him.
Dan felt love and acceptance—a kindred spirit
where serving others was the club's main goal.
