Oh the things we do for love!
Things we sometimes dread.
Thank the good LORD above
That we got heart, and we're not undead.

Heart joins us humans in fellowship
With the silly but caring antics.
Everyone's done a few in love's grip,
The actions, corny and romantic.

Sometimes, love makes us frown
And even scream and cry.
Heartbreak on the inbound
And no more feel good highs.

Then a new love comes along,
And the gray skies, forgotten and gone.
