Through the ages we've met...
I waited for you all my life,
for you to walk into my space,
and find love that can't be replaced,
I waited for you all my life.
I knew one day you'd find me there,
out on a crowded city street,
I guess fate meant for us to meet,
I knew one day you'd find me there.
We bumped and my hand touched your arm,
embarrassed I was, plain to see,
your laughing eyes looked up at me,
we bumped and my hand touched your arm.
An early spring rain gently fell,
we talked of weather for a while,
enchanted I was by your smile,
An early spring rain gently fell.
We both just clicked 'neath stormy skies,
I walked you to your car and then...
I asked, "Can I see you again?"
We both just clicked 'neath stormy skies.
For years love's lasted rain or shine,
we still think back upon that day,
when our two hearts had found their way,
for years love's lasted rain or shine.
I'm sure our souls have met before,
another life, a city street,
two laughing eyes, a smile sweet,
I'm sure our souls have met before.
One day we'll part but we won't weep,
we know that we will meet once more,
when fate again opens its door,
one day we'll part but we won't weep.
A love like ours will never end,
my soul, from yours, can never part,
for bound, we both are, heart to heart,
a love like ours will never end.
