She was my best friend.

My Mother

I am thankful for all my mother would do.
She was faithful, caring, humble, and true.
She loved everyone with all of her heart.
I truly missed her when we were apart.

My mom loved God and taught me to pray,
Worked hard on the farm every single day.
A beautiful bright smile lit up her face.
She did her very best to win life's race.

I love my mother more than words can say.
She followed Christ in her own special way.
She taught me to love by the things she'd do.
Throughout her life, her testimony grew.
