In sonnet style

Let The Sunshine In

When you are awake come the morn
and the sunshine has gone astray;
Just put some sunshine in your heart
and it will brighten up your day.

Have a smile for all your neighbors
and shake their hands and make it clear.
That you love them and respect them
and to you they are very dear.

Do this today and eve'ry day
and it will brighten up your life;
As you travel down life's highway,
one that's filled with storms and strife.

A smile is better than a tear-
And makes much better things appear.
