ode to my two dogs

Jason the dog that saved my soul

I have had two dogs
In my life
The first was a huskie.

That I had to give up
To my sister
The landlord said
Either the dog goes, or you go.

The other dog was a beagle
Who saved my soul and sanity,
When I was bedridden
After a horrid jogging accident
That went awry.
