Overcoming gloom.
Sharing the Gift of Sunshine
Trapped in your cloudy hours
you yearn to see the sun,
but think it’s not within your powers.
You sit and mope.
You cannot cope.
There is no hope.
Your darkness wilts all flowers.
You must find your own inner glow,
when all is said and done.
It’s waiting there, I know.
Your hand extend.
You’ll find a friend.
Let spirit mend.
Put your love there on show.
The sun will shine in another’s eyes,
and that will be your prize.
