Thermostatic Women

The inhumanity of humanity,
speaking for men,
are women control
the thermostat,
not only in the home
but more subjectively,
physically, (wink-wink)
twenty-four seven.

The fairer sex is unequipped
to respond to a hand-held remote
allowing men dominion with them
as we have with televisions,
and other sundry items since
Nikola Tesla invented them.
If I was he, I would have
devised a she-remote too.

Instead, they have control
of a 'now and then' switch,
fluctuating intermittently,
whereas men's thermostats
are stuck on... ON.
Thus, we are in constant heat
whereas women are less
frequently synced with men,
save it be for making babies or
awakening from an erotic dream.

Still, if and when
her disposition changes,
as paramours, we must be
ready and rock steady
to meet her capriciousness
for we are not guaranteed
a repeat performance.
