Seekers of the gift

by royowen

Do we appreciate the gift,
or the reason for the rift?
Does creation bring the wonder,
or the one who brings the thunder.

Does the Lord of all creation,
make us tremble with elation?
When we realise temptation,
is the cause of sin's flirtation?

If we worship at the altar
does the doubts cause us to falter.
For He is the dawning's sunrise,
and the truth that conquers all lies.

When we see God's mercy dawning,
and the source that conquered mourning,
does the majesty your seeing
seem reflections of God's being?

Romans 1:20-21
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
