A telephone call from above.
I'll See You Later
by poetwatch
Wife of mine, I guess it was my time. I’m calling to let you know
I had a heart attack while in bed, and I’m dead.
Yet, God smiled, and He knows our hearts. So, He granted me this last call.
I only have a few words to say. The first is,
“I love you.”
The rest don’t really matter.
Now, don’t cry for me I’m under his wings.
I will always be here if you need me.
Just call my name and I’ll kiss you in your dreams.
Give my love to those we love. I’ll see you later.
