Loveth This

As surely thou can tellith here
I lackith skills required.
Old English I've not mastered yet
but what I've so desired.

I knowith of my sad misdeeds
and breakith many laws.
I askith thee, please spare thy scorn,
I weepith at my flaws.

"You can't just add an 'ith,' moron,
to any word you choose."
I hearith what mine friend doth say
with insight I refuse.

Would Shakespeare welcome verse I scribe,
then praiseth mine own name
and sayith raiseth mine head high
or hangith it in shame?

I begith thee, forgiveth me.
Wish not upon me death.
Perhaps some day I'll learnith this
but holdith not thy breath.
