Sing Me A Country Song

When looking for fine po'etry,

it's country songs is where I see.

Fine lyrics filled with heart and rhyme,

that seem to move me all the time.

They are full of love, hope and fear.

Our needs and wants are loud and clear.

They never, ever leave much doubt,

on what our life is all about.

Their flow and cadence can't be beat.

I value them as a great treat.

They run the reaches of our life,

enclose the ups and downs and strife.

Till something better comes along-

I'll stay with them and sing their song.
