Euphoria is a Choice
I love Cherry Trees.
For years now, I've
held these red wanderers
in my deepest chamber.
I obsess over the petals
primarily.
Little infinitessimal things,
windblown sprites drowning,
an old spring world in their
thousands.
I press over their petals,
these useless medals,
I obsess, over these
raining drops of blood,
these spilled leaves. And
red letter notes that
come to me
in cherry waves
from cherry trees
somewhere there's a house
behind a victorian palasade
where my other me lives
dining, full with glee,
ensconced in cypress
and cherry wreaths
