Homeless Day: #38
Homeless Factor: 5.
They come as they go.
Yes, the Broken Warriors in the night.
Dark Encircled eyes that hold no surprise.
Emanciated from barely a meal a day.
Unfortunately living for something they'll never achieve?
"The Light of Day"
..
There's not much there to say.
The scars run deep in every different way?
The stories are also almost always the same.
Been there done that now?
"Playing the Game"
...
Stubble bearded faces, dirty and greasy hair, ragged clothes; hardly enough for an average person to wear.
Something's missing.
And, something's out of place.
All somehow have fallen from Grace.
...
Some live in tents.
I understand within sheltered woods but when the temperatures suddenly drop?
They come in and seek warmer shelters.
(If they're allowed as if they could?)
Many have burned bridges and suffered as they should.
Never do they complain for most of even forgotten whom they are and even their *Name?
