A story of an ongoing mistake
Not Again
by Brian Taylor1
After splitting the sandwich, he reached into the lion's den.
The better half devoured.
A low growl campaigned for a second serving.
Ten... Nine... Eight.
"What's taking so long?" He whispered as he watched the rising of the red mane.
His taste buds tingled.
Breath, now labored... "No."
The lion startled, watching his feeder hit the floor.
'When's he gonna remember that I'm the one who gets tranquilized?' The lion thought while licking his chops.
