A chapter in the book Seasons of Change

Prologue

There is a cycle to
mind, body, and soul,
Cycles, like the seasons seen.

How thoughts and feelings
affect the physical well-being,
much like spring rains,
nourishing the grand scene
or missing the dry plains completely.

That impacts our thinking process.

As in an unspoken wonder;
like that feeling thunder
brings as we look toward
the ever-graying sky
thinking,
"Should I run for cover?"
 
 
I intend to create thirty poems. One per day in the month of April. My theme is about changes. My objective is to write about changes we experience in our lifetime. The seasons are in four specific areas of life. The seasons in nature. The seasons of love and marriage. The seasons of faith. The seasons of mind, body, and soul.    JLR
