Let me tell you 'bout my best friend...

Eighth-grader Gabby, has been facing issues with some of her classmates.
She has stopped socializing, and spends all her time with her new best friend.
Feeling down, Gabby knew her BFF would provide the distraction needed at their play date after school.
After playing for hours, her sadness faded.
In fact, she barely felt anything at all!
Later, Gabby climbed into bed and drifted off to sleep...
With her “best friend” charging on the nightstand...

It appears to be the trend of the current times. Children can effortlessly become wrapped up in their smartphones or iPads... If we allow it! Unfortunately, viewing the world through a screen may be a preference... Or even eventually their only option...
