Wind Whistles Midst Trees

wind whistles midst trees

      as leaf falls over the creek —

bug sails out to sea

Diverse groups of insects are found on the shores

5/7/5 poem written in 3 lines with a 5/7/5 syllables pattern. The lines are connected grammatically and it doesn't rhyme. It's similar to haiku but has fewer rules, just the syllables and lines count.
