I Plead Guilty

Nefarious you conspire
You sorrow amplifier
You are so hostile
Dark and vile

You scorch the Earth with your hellfire
Hidden under your calm attire
You are fake, hard, and hostile
A mind that has long gone senile

 
My fate will be dire
For my death, they will require
The lawyers will compile
All the evidence for the trial
 
But from the small squire
No longer trapped in your shire
They can finally smile
With the death of the evil crocodile

The scheme is AABB. I used two sets of words that almost rhyme with each other to try and create a more fluent rhyme. How did I do?
