Writing Sonnets

Poetry has so much beauty.

Its power moves both you and me.

It fills your soul and warms your heart.

My love for it will never depart.

I like to write my verse in rhyme

and try to do that all the time.

Ne'er will be a better way,

to say what you may want to say.

This sonnet form I've used for years,

to lift my spirits, calm my fears.

Give it a try and you will say,

there is, no doubt a better way.

If you try this you'll surely see,

sonnets become your cup of tea.
