I owe the pen much

In time, I wrote fiction stories

and it has given me opportunities

to practice writing

The whole notebook is

filled with words and self-editing

The pen gives me tremendous

confidence, it gets things done

I think of paragraphs, sentences,

grammar, punctuation, etc.

The book will be interesting

for readers who won't put it down

The pen made me into

an award-winning writer

I practice writing fiction stories

It makes me write better

The pen and I go a long way back

It paid me to improve my craft

and it is my important muse

Write an ode to anything you want as long as it is not about a person or an animal. Comparison can be made to people or animals. It can be funny or serious. Personification allowed. Rhyming or not is up to you. The subject is up to you, please keep it clean. Pictures and author's notes allowed.
